Hi my name is Sandy , and I have lived in Nova Scotia, Canada for most of my life.  My husband and I live in a large Victorian home in the valley, so we are surrounded by farmland and that means an abundance of wool.   I have been an artist for most of my life working mostly with acrylic and only in the last year have I discovered wool and realized I could ‘paint” with wool.

I have recently started using recycled 100% wool blankets and sweaters to make my tea cosies, the cosies are dyed, hand sewn and embellished.  This has become my passion and my tea cosies and gifts are in stores near and far. I sell my handmade tea cosies and gifts in a large local weekly market, and of course I also sell from my shop at the GLC Arts and Crafts Online Mall.

 I get very excited when people tell me where they are sending my handmade tea cosies and gifts. My hand made tea cosies and gifts are being sent around the world to countries  such as, Australia, Africa, England, and of course across Canada and the United States.
